Thank you so much for this. I have only had my Fitbit for 4 months and it took over my whole life and caused so much extra anxiety on top of what I already have.

Reading your words has helped me find peace in letting it go and just living and feeling again. I’ve survived 34 years without it, and I am learning to trust my body again.

Why do we feel the need to measure everything? We're such compulsive little cataloguers of our own lives and actions - tracking gets so addicting so quickly. I had to retire my Fitbit years ago for the same reason! I have an Apple Watch now, but I haven't been using it so obsessively. Reminding ourselves to take things slow, to enjoy the walk or the swim or the run, is so important.
